MC's very quaffable Sazerac

The best Sazerac's are from The Napoleon House in New Orleans, but this one comes in a very close second...

chill a rocks glass with ice/water

in a shaker dissolve a sugar cube with

a bit of water and

3 shakes of Peychaud bitters

once dissolved add 2 oz of Rye

coat chilled glasses with  Herbsaint (use Ricard or Pernod if not available)

shake rye mixture with ice to chill

strain into chilled, coated glass

garnish with a lemon twist

drink and enjoy! (and just try to not indulge in another)
