That's the opening paragraph from the NYT's bit on downloading music (in Friday's paper).
The part I just don't get is why critic Jon Pareles assumes that his readership is so out of it they don't know about downloading music. It's old news and weak. Despite the opener the peice is worth reading and has lots of links to free music sites.
