Last night downtown Los Angeles was strutting and preening for her director, Michael Mann, and he fell in love all over again, right before the audience's eyes.

(Watching Collateral made me a little sentimental for the Wall Street loft. Not all gleaming chrome and glass, but great nonetheless.)
