The city is here for you to use

I drove to San Francisco today and I so wish it was the middle of a hot, sultry summer in California instead of the state being in the throngs of "Storm Watch 2005!" because 1.) the passanger-side window on the car came off its tracks and won't stay up and 2.) I saw a water main get broken and a huge burst of water shoot into the sky five stories high, which seemed like a really fun thing for a summer day but not such a fun thing on a winter day.

At least there was a lovely sunset view out the broken car window.
