there is a light that never goes out
Foils with dabs of funny looking stuff will soon be sticking out of my head. One must have blonde-ish roots for a beloved's memorial service.
And waterproof mascara.
Yesterday and this morning involved lots of chopping and mixing and seasoning and cooking for the light (and oh-so-delicious) snacks to be served.
And then a gathering of pretty crystal glassware and platters. Turns out to be boxes of stuff to be driven over to Linda's which will be thoughtfully arranged on her beautiful slate table.
Sparkling wine is going to help me get through the day. I think.
And we're totally going to be rocking out on the iPod during the party (better word then "service", right).
Linda would approve, I am sure of it.
Although I wish I could gossip with her about the attendees. Who is that? They did what?? Hee, hee.
That's going to get me through the day too.
