Remember over the summer when I came across this unbelievable junk-heap?
It's the free magazine that keeps on giving.
In a box of maps I grabbed was an issue of squeaky clean Cornet magazine, which has become half of the inspiration for a series of collages I've since made (the other half being a soft porn magazine from the same time period). I also used a few of its images in a series of mini collage paintings (the more PG rated ones, obvs). Although I've probably thumbed through it about 50 times, I still haven't tired of it. For example, how great is this quiz? And visually: bravo.
