Cute boys, murals, and FULL BLEDE launch: favorites week ending 07.30.17
Have been addicted to Film Struck, catching up on French and Italian classics including Purple Noon, which is incredible—the first Talented Ripley film made, and by far my favorite.
Popped into Please Do Not Enter for a soiree with my The Broad co-worker Tyler who looks fab in these aviator sunglasses.
I met some of my fellow grad Sotheby's Institute of Art (Claremont Graduate School) students and instructor Kibum Kim at Tin Flats, where Kibum houses his Skibum MacArthur project. I had already seen the show, but it was great to get some insights from him and revisit the work.
Some street art highlights from walks around the neighborhood with the pup included catching Owen Dippie in action in the alley by my loft. It's an amzing mural.
Friday night was the launch of FULL BLEDE Issue Two: The City at Dalton Warehouse. We were a must see pick by Curate LA! The night was awesome and complicated. I'm super grateful for all the support shown by the people who braved a hostile group on the street. The exhibition was beautiful and enthusiastically received.
Back to work Sunday with one of my faves, Bob Speck. Xoxo.
