All grids are fields, but not all fields are grids
I stomped around today for a long-ish walk for the first time in over a week, the break in my routine due to having a terrible cold (COVID-test negative). It sprinkled a bit in the beginning and was a cool, gray skied day. It felt fresh. I mean not fresh in like a clean, sweet-smelling way, cuz, DTLA, but fresh in the way of having fresh eyes. Everything looked new and yet completely familiar at the same time. My eyes were particularly drawn to grids. This happens frequently on walks–I get keen on a particular visual and then can’t stop looking for it, finding it, and taking pictures of it.
Here are some fave grids for today’s #DTLAWalkabout.
