Made In LA at The Hammer
Some unedited snaps here of the works I enjoyed the most from Hammer Museum's annual Los Angeles-centric show of emerging or under-recognized artists. Which brings up: what is Sterling Ruby doing in this exhibition?
Before visiting the galleries I was delighted to find that the museum's weekly Mindful Awareness meditation was just about to begin. After a general meditation there was a short lecture on the day's topic: forgiveness. It was exactly what I needed. I am grateful for this wonderfully synchronicity-filled moment of my day.
