Couch Collages
This summer I've been adjusting to not having a proper studio space and just a few art supplies (basically only glue) in the loft, while everything else takes the summer off in a storage unit. My supplies are having a creative vacation, but I'm not really into it. I've been scratching my creative itch by making cut and paste postcards in my loft, using a few discarded invitations and auction catalogs. I've be getting a lot of pleasure cutting and pasting in a casual, small way with limited materials.
I'm calling the postcard series "couch collages," because they are crafted while I'm sitting on the sofa and lovingly mailed off to friends and (mostly) my mama. #usewhatyougot
