Little books for Day 24 #100DaysStudioObj

A couple of days ago pulled out these little books I made in anticipation of June's Thursday Night Social: Book Binding.

About five years ago or so I got super into making little handbound books and sold many of them on my Etsy shop. In some cases I collaged the covers, in other cases I scanned in older collages and printed them out on cardstock. I did a series of the small, collaged ones called "The Naughty Jotter" that had subversive images on the inside back cover. So much fun!

All of these pictured above use the same three hole punch and sewn binding (which I am sure has an official name), but I've played around with many different methods. My partner in the Socials, Krista, found some examples she has created in the past with interesting stitching and even twigs. I lined up both of our examples, snapped a picture, and used it for the poster for the event.
